Born and raised in Kathmandu, Meenu Thapa is one of the senior and most successful Beautician of Nepal. After completion of her plus two studies, she learned cosmetology.

Did her cosmetology from Kota in the in the vocational training provided by the domestic organization. Did basic course from there and did her diploma in ITC.

After spending 8 years in Australia and explored her learnings in Cosmetology, she returned to her birth place and back in the year 2014 she purchased Shanta’s Herbal Beauty Parlor and Training center. With the successful operation of the organization, it has always focused and contributed in the empowerment of the women. Meenu has not delivered parlor skills through her mentoring and trainings but has also created employment opportunities.

Currently she also holds the position as the president of National Beautician Union Nepal Metropolitan Committee and the President of Lions Club of Kathmandu Sahaas. Though her successful accomplishment has been remarkable but her bucket of wish list has various feathers. So, in near future she aspires to be a Montessori trainer and looks forward positively to be an inspiration to all the women throughout the country.
