Badri Nepal was born in the lap of Mt. Ganesh Himal (7422m) range of the Himalaya in Dhading district of Nepal, which is reach in Brahmin-Chhetri and Gurung-Magar mix culture. As he grown up in the multicultural society he has deep respect to all the cultural norms and values. Later, in his early childhood his family sifted to Kathmandu, the city of culture, unique tradition and heritage sites. His respects to the culture and traditions grown up more and more when he witnesses daily life of culturally deep rooted Newar community and their cultural pastises.
In school, he had join Nepal Red Cross Society and actively participated on its programs. He has learned social and humanitarian values as Red Cross workers till the date. After completion his formal study in Management (MBS), he started join tourist group as an assistance to the Guide in trekking journey to the Himalaya, Everest and Annapurna region. With the regular interaction with foreigner people the horizon of his knowledge become wider and wider. He actually fallen in love with the job he has done. Not only financial support but his confidence level become very high. He had joined the Trekking Guide & Tour Guide Training organized by NATHM (Nepal Academy of Travel and Hotel Management) to give his job a professional shape. After continuing his job as trekking guide for some years, he further took the training on Tourist Guide, from NATHM itself.

Badri’s career continued to expand and grow even more successful in the field of Travel and Tourism and as a Social worker.He was awarded by Lions Club International as Leadership for his remarkable achievement in leadership development. He was also awarded for the financial support provided to the needy people during Covid-19 Pandemic and earlier devastating Earth quack 2015.

He was elected as a president of Tourist Guide Association of Nepal (TURGAN) from 27thAGM of TURGAN held on February 2021. TURGAN is the one and only umbrella organization of Tourists Guides of Nepal, under his leadership a remarkable changed has been seen to the Management, Refreshment Training conduct and relation development with other tourism related associations and entrepreneurs. He is also a member of Lalitpur Blood Transfusion Center, running by Nepal Red Cross Society.
Badri strongly believes on the strategy of poverty elevation through tourism. Creating sustainable tourism with quality service is his main mission and motto. He has seen tremendous potentiality on tourism in Nepal, as nature has created Nepal full of adventure and attractions for tourists from all over the world. Important things are we have managed it well and create nature friendly infrastructure, information system, competitive manpower and facilities. He has a clear vision that unplanned development some time ruins authentic Nepalese characteristics. So, every development should carry out without ruin the authenticity of Nepalese culture, architect and tradition. He is putting his ideas in front of all tourism stack holder and trying to implement then in policy making level.
