He is an accomplished Travel Professional by profession who has been working in Singapore for the past 11 years… He has been active in doing community service, doing outreach program to orphanage, and joing volunteering activities such as housing projects like habitat for humanity. He joined a Housing Rehabilitation Project in Jogjakarta Indonesia in 2018. During the eruption of Taal Volcano in the Philippines he also did a donation drive to help and reach out to the victims by providing them food, clothes and basic needs during their evacuation.

Currently he lost his job and was stucked in the Philippines due to the global pandemic… when he was stucked during the Covid pandemic he made himself busy by doing community works. He volunteered to help out those who are lockdown most especially those communities and family who needs most help. He decided to form his own volunteer group, to help our local government prepare food packs to give aid to all the citizens of their locality so every family must at least have food to eat even though its lockdown due to the global pandemic due to Covid.

He was featured at the ASEAN Economic News, an online news publication that monitors the recent up to date news during the pandemic. The editors of the Asean Economic News considered Mr. Cirera’s actions, a truly spirited individual tha truly reflect the meaning of the “Asean Community”. Due to the values displayed we have therefore classified his story and its depiction of Filipino community spirit as a Best of the AEC.
