Mr Pradeep Kumar Shrestha is a well-known business personality & is also the Managing Director of Panchakanya Group one of the leading industrial and trading house of Nepal. Slogan of Panchakanya Group – “Always first, always ahead” has been undoubtedly justified by Mr Shrestha’s leadership and has proved to be the pioneer in many industrial venture in Nepal. Today Panchakanya Group celebrates its silver jubilee (50 years) of its establishment and has immensely contributed in the industrialization of Nepal. His untiring and visionary approach has helped Panchakanya to grow and has proved to be the household name in Nepal. Mr Shrestha never looked back once he shouldered the responsibility and has always left good impressions in his working career.

Born in the remote part of Nepal holding a MBA degree justified his work. He is the second son of Mr Prem Bahadur Shrestha, who delegated most power & responsibility of business decision to him at an early age. He has been honoured with many awards both in Nepal by the government and some international organization. He was the youngest president and also known as millennium president of Nepal’s Business apex body FNCCI (Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry). His successful achievement in many field is still remembered by most business community and government official of Nepal. He believes that our country is not poor and needs good young visionary leaders who can turn around the country by tapping the opportunity and fighting the challenge. He says “To be born poor isn’t one’s fault but to die poor is. So, cultivate your present for the better future”.

Mr Shrestha has also served as the vice-president of SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) Chamber for four terms and at present, he is the active vice-president of CACCI (Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry). He is also a keen golfer and the past president of Nepal Golf’s Association. As the Honorary Consul of South Africa, he took up the challenging task of organizing FICAC Conference, a historical event in Nepal, in a very short period of time and has proved to be one of the most successful conference ever held by FICAC.
